in-BBC-news-cubicleI am originally from the UK but began my radio career producing radio in the drama department of the Australian Broadcasting Company in Sydney in 1986 and became Executive Producer Radio Drama. I moved back to the UK in 1990 and freelanced primarily for BBC World Service producing thirty minute documentaries and shorter features on every subject under the sun.

Then to Chicago, where I produced for WBEZ, Chicago Public Radio and Soundprint Media and continued working for the BBC. From there, I moved to a staff job as cultural producer for WNYC New York Public Radio for seven years, where I produced and presented arts features and worked on the pilot phase of the national arts show Studio 360. I was then invited to form an independent company C.I.M (Corporation for Independent Media) to supply radio dramas to the BBC so that took me to London for four years where I regularly produced plays and documentaries for BBC Radio 3 and Radio 4. Now I am permanently living in New York and transitioning to more American based work.
