July 2005 till present - Director of Corporation for Independent Media C.I.M Produces plays for BBC Radio 4, and produces and presents features for BBC Radio 3 and 4 and series for Radio 4 and World Service. Produces and directs on contract for other independent companies. Commercial Language Teaching tapes / podcasts. 2006 – 2008 Secretary and Board member of the Radio Independents Group RIG which looks after the interests of independent broadcasting companies in the UK.
1999-2005 New York - Culture Producer WNYC New York Public Radio Developed a national arts show Studio 360 in its pilot phase. Presented and produced weekly feature on the arts in New York for the breakfast programme. Liaised between News and Music Departments. Appeared regularly on daily live music show Soundcheck. Produced one-hour arts specials. Interactive work included a blog, tape slide shows, essays, photos and briefing web designers on cultural content.
1992 – 1999 Freelance in Chicago As Producer/Presenter for Soundprint Media, USA. Delivered 22 x 30’ documentaries distributed across America including major science, space and medicine series as well as many personal and human interest stories with high production values. Continue to work for Soundprint up to present. All Soundprint documentaries are on www.soundprint.org. Producer/Presenter BBC short and long form feature on the arts and culture for all BBC networks. Regular arts correspondent for Australian Broadcasting Corporation. Reporter/producer for Other NPR and PRI radio programs including: Performance Today, Savvy Traveler, Marketplace, All Things Considered The World and Chicago Public Radio.

1986 – 1988 Executive Producer, Radio Drama, ABC Sydney Ran national department which broadcast four plays a week Supervised 18 producers over five regional offices. Innovated new radio drama formats, including live broadcasts Produced plays from new playwrights
